With many events now online, we're pleased to report that our first webinar, Teach Portsmouth presents routes into teaching on Wednesday 4 November welcomed 16 future teachers to learn more about a schools direct and university based route into the profession.
Hosted by Councillor Suzy Horton, Cabinet Member for Children, Families and Education at Portsmouth City Council and two teachers, Abigail Abrahams and Emily Brown were interviewed about teacher training and offered top tips for those exploring their options.
Those who attended the webinar were able to submit questions as part of a live Q&A with Councillor Horton, Abigail and Emily responding live.
"It's fantastic to see so much engagement with Teach Portsmouth's first webinar. To hear from teachers is invaluable as you get a sense of what it is like as they are drawing upon their own experiences from teacher training."

"Webinars also allow us to reach new audiences. You could be the other side of the world and still be inspired to teach thanks to technology."
